Anyone moving molars back (distally?) using TADs?

Just wondering if anyone with TADs on the board is using them to move molars back to create space? I know some people are using them for molar intrusion, bite plates etc., but does anyone have them for moving the molars backward? If so, how is the movement going? This will be part of my treatment plan and I'm interested in hearing how it is working for others.

I had tads during my treatment for about 4 months or so. it worked Great, mine was for moving my molar back and rotating it a bit. It was very annoying and made my tongue sore & was awkward to clean because it was on the inside of my uppers but it was definitely worth it and moved my Molar pretty quickly. Im stoked it's off now! :)

No, I do not have a story. I am not very good at computers/technology.
I wish I at least kept a journal of some sort!

I have a TAD on one side, located where my wisdom tooth used to be, and its pulling my whole lower arch to that side. So far so good, the movement has been working. The worst part was getting the thing installed, it took my ortho three tries (over the course of 3 months) to get it in solidly enough to tie to. The working space was pretty tight back there. And the tongue abrasion from the lingual button was a nightmare, but my mouth got used to it after a weeks time. I've had it in for about 5 months so far. I went this route to avoid extractions, so I'm glad I'm doing it. Good luck.
