Well, it took 7 extractions, 18 months and 9 days, but I finally have my smile back!! Today was my debanding day and I couldn't be happier with the results!! It's not perfection yet, one of my teeth was damaged before and the braces caused the damage to worsen and discolor the tooth. I'm getting a root canal and internal bleaching done next week, but other than that I'm so happy. All the pain was worth it...I can't believe I get to keep these teeth!!

Seeing pictures of other people's progress and final outcomes really helped me in some of my darker braces days, so I thought I'd throw mine up here in the hopes that it will do the same for someone else.

First day in braces...hadn't really gotten the hang of taking pictures yet, but you can see how much crowding was going on especially on my bottoms.



Showing off my extraction gaps. I had 3 premolars and 4 wisdoms yanked in one go. This is probably about four months in.

Wow, that looks AMAZING. 7 extractions is indeed pretty tough, I had only 4 teeth more than "needed". Even if there's still some tweaking to be done, you look amazing. So glad it turned out like this. Congratulations and enjoy your superb smile. You deserve it

Your teeth look so nice! My teeth (bottom front 2) look so much like yours did before braces. Actually, mine are much much worse, they are "super-errupted" and look like they could just pop right out of my mouth at any moment! Anyways, nice to see what my teeth will look like in a few years...
