I've had my lower braces on for a week now and I don't know if I'm hallucinating or what! A day or two after they were put on, at one moment I thought I felt one (or is that two, 'cause they're next to each other?) of my teeth 'move' -- sort of like two tectonic plates shifting for an earthquake. It was just for a quick second and then it was over. Yesterday the same thing happened on the other side of my mouth.
I wasn't doing anything like eating that might have made my teeth feel funny, just standing around talking with my friends. Am I just imagining it, or has anyone else felt the same thing?
Hi Foxsong
If you're imagining the movement than so am i!!
I've been feeling clicking & clunking for a while now (although its subsided at the mo). At one stage i looked in the mirror & my teeth were as they had been the previous day, about 1/2 hour later i felt a "clunk", looked in the mirror again & one of my lower front teeth had completely moved (was previously overlapping another tooth - but not any more!!)
Yes! Especially after I have an adjustment. Just had new wires put in and over night my teeth had moved and I had a tiny gap in between my front teeth in the morning where they had twisted and shifted better into the arch
