First time and (will be) the only time!

Never! But I will be getting them for the first time on May 27th :)

This is my 2nd time in braces. I had the 1st brace when i was 15 but only had it on my top teeth (although my bottom set were awful!) for a year & only had to wear the retainer for 6 months. Over time my top teeth all moved again & i was re-braced again in January 2011 (after 4 extractions) - can see such a huge improvement already & i plan that this will be my final time wearing braces, even if it means i have to wear a retainer at night for the rest of my life!!!

This is the second, and last, time. Had them first when I was about 11 until 14, I think.. I didn't wear my headgear like I was supposed to, didn't take care of my teeth well, and did quite a bit of damage to my teeth overall.. Oh, and then with some stressful events later on I started thumb sucking again (it's always been my vice). Basically, I was too young for and too ignorant of the whole process.. BUT, on a positive note, when I have kids they'll have awesome oral hygiene and will not have any bad mouth habits lol

This is my second time and this will be my last time. I know for a fact that my wisdom teeth won't be rearranging my teeth again and I plan on wearing my retainer every single night. My first ortho didn't give me a retainer after my treatment was done. Such a shame that I wore braces for 4 years the first time and it was all a waste. The only positive out of it was I didn't have to have jaw surgery because my jaw was already expanded as a child.

First and last for me as well.

Like many of the others, second and last. First time was when I was about 17, and they didn't do a particularly good job. Here I am, 25 years later, sorting it out once and for all.
