Metal Mouth Message Board

I just got springs today, because lately I've been a bad girl, and i havent been putting my rubber bands on. With the springs in the only places i can bite are with my front teeth and if i push my jaw far enough are my molars. I can barely speak without sounding stupid. My front teeth hurt when i chew, because i got my braces tightened. When i chew with my molars my food gets stuck in the springs and they pull my front teeth so they hurt. Any advice....?

Hi Elise--Are you talking about the Forsus Springs? If so, I'm going to be getting those in a couple of months. If that's what they are, did they use the comfort caps?
