I've been pretty rubbish at taking regular photos but thought I would show you how much things have changed in just 11 months and 2 weeks, and hopefully encourage those who are in a similar situation. My orthodontist thinkss they will be ready to come off in a couple of months. I'm so excited but can't help but worry this is too soon as my original estimate was 2 years!
Thanks for the update!! I, too, have an overjet and I am very curious as to how soon I can expect to start seeing a decrease- your post is very helpful to see how fast it can go. I am excited now, and your teeth look great!!
Isn't it absolutely amazing when you can see such fantastic results!!!
I just went for an adjustment yesterday. My ortho said my overjet went from 10mm to 4mm!!! I am soooooooo excited!!
He said it is very unusual for an adult's teeth to move this quickly. I didn't really realize what he was saying until I saw the comparison pics he took yesterday. Weeeee Doggies!!!!!
Really exciting! I just started my journey to reduce my 10mm overjet non-surgically! I hope to get great results, its only been 5 days and I've already seen subtle changes!
that is awesome! and really gives me hope i have an 8mm overjet and braces go on in 2 days so seeing such positive results makes me feel better! i cant wait to see some changes
mine I was told is only 3mm-5mm so seeing that a 14mm one went perfect looking in 1 year with regular non Damon Braces I can assume the Damon braces will work well on me
I am SO happy to see this - I didn't think it was possible to fix an overjet with braces even to the degree that mine is (10mm) so to know that it can be done for someone with a 14mm overjet is such a huge relief. Thank you for posting and congratulations on your improved smile! :)
