Second molars out of alignment

I'm about a year into my treatment (estimated 18-20 months) and everything is pretty much straight now. But I've noticed that both of my second molars seem to stick out... Did anyone else have this problem? And how did your Ortho fix it?

The big question is WHY do they stick out, and what it means? Do they occlude correctly with the lower molars? Are they tipped? Is it due to crowding? The treatment will depend on the nature of the problem. For example, my 1st molars used to stick out because I have crossbite on them. This is being fixed right now with braces and possibly elastic.
You should discuss this with your ortho, but I doubt that he/she will deband you without fixing the sticking out teeth. Good luck!
