Which electric toothbrush do you use/like?

#1 Post by bbsadmin »

Have you been using an electric toothbrush that you really like, or do you brush manually?

I've been using a Sonicare for years -- even before I got braces. There are so many new toothbrushes and models out there now, I'm curious to know what people are using these days!
I'm the owner/admin of this site. Had ceramic uppers, metal lowers ~3 years in my early 40's. Now in Hawley retainers at night!

I used an Oral B for a long time until it died. Now I am trying the Sonicare at recommedation of my hygienist. They are both very different but I am liking the Sonicare. Teeth feel really clean.

I've been using the very inexpensive Oral-B Vitality for the past year or so and really love how much cleaner my teeth feel compared to manual brushing alone. If only the bristles were more orthodontic resistant and I didn't need to replace them so often.

I use the Sonicare Flexcare 2x a day and I'm very happy with it. I use a manual brush during the day at work and when I'm out and about. My orthodontist has praised me for taking great care of my teeth at every adjustment.

I use an oral b professional care 2000, I don't think its any better than other oral bs but it was on a half price offer. I use it with the orthodontic heads. I prefer it to my old sonicare as I am able to reach everywhere, whereas I couldn't get to the back of my wisdom teeth with the sonicare.

For cost effectiveness I used the Oral-B Vitality for a long time, but recently switched to the basic sonicare brush with the special orthodontic/soft head. It really was worth it.
