What's the difference between round,square & triangle wire?

I may be off but I believe the round wires are lighter and are used in the beginning to level and align the teeth ..then the square or rectangular ones are for root torquing and more heavier movement ..I have not heard of triangular wires myself ....

thank you for the reply, about the triangle one..i think i am wrong but i read it somewhere there's a person said that her/his orthodontist used triangle wire to fix slant teeth. I forget where i read it though. i think it's misconception because i tried to googling about this last night and found there isn't any source mention about triangle wire
