Waited to bracket last 4?

I got braces in December 2010. The other day, the ortho finally bracketed my 4 back teeth. My cheeks are so sore/torn up/swollen I can barely eat. Is it normal for them to wait so long to bracket those last 4? And how long does it take to stop hurting? Thanks!

Sorry cant really help you as i had all of my teeth bracketed but having said that i still have 1 tooth yet to have a bracket on it ( my wisdom tooth)
im not sure when hes doing that either, its amazing they seem to have their own weird and strange way of doing things.

Are you talking about the 4 molars or your wisdom teeth?
I had my wisdom teeth bracketed at month 9.

I am having my 4 back molars bracketed in a week which will be almost 10 months since I got braced. I have two wisdom teeth on the right side but not sure he is going to bracket them. Sounds like the time line is similar for us.
