I am not sure if it cleans better, but, Yes, you can use one. I use an Oral-B Professional 4000 with the orthodontic head.

Shouldn't be a problem. I have a Sonicare - best purchase ever. In fact, check out SlickDeals... there was a deal up there the other day. $15 I think-

I use a new Sonicare. Found a good deal at one of the big box stores. It has worked well for me.

Yes, it does help, a lot!!!!
I use Sonicare Flexcare+ it comes with 5 different brush modes but any electronic tooth brushes will do the job.
All you really need is a solid 2 mins of brushing which most electronic brushes comes with.

Good luck(:

Hm..I just use a regular tooth brush. So far no issues and no complaints from my ortho and dentist. lol. My co-worker gave me a $30 off coupon for a sonicare electric tooth brush set so I might just get me a set and see what all the hype is all about.

I love the sonic care!! Ever since I started using it my dentist said my teeth are so clean. My check ups are awesome. I will never uses a manual brush again.... Except when my teeth are hurting really bad from the braces. Lol worth every penny!!!
