Wires disengaged from upper back teeth at last adjustment

#1 Post by Bracer215 »

So my last adjustment was quite interesting. I am getting close to my debanding date (can't believe how fast it has gone) which is scheduled for June. I still have the wire on the bottom teeth extended to all my back molars. However on the top, the wire only goes to the first bicuspid (premolar) on each side. I had been wearing the class 2 elastics but the ortho had me stop wearing those. I have gone back to wearing the triangle elastics (Switzerland) in front on each side (upper canine to bottom canine and first premolar on bottom). I was told to wear these always at night and as much as possible during the day. Then at night I am also to wear triangle elastics (Mexico) which go from the two upper back molars to the bottom last molar, in addition to the triangle ones in the front of my mouth. Just thought this was all interesting especially not having the wires extend all the way around to the back molars on the upper teeth. :o
