Hey,

I was just wondering. My wire has 2 thicker parts to it at the front, either side of a tooth. I'm presuming these are perhaps stoppers to control at what point the teeth stop moving maybe?

If it's what I'm thinking you're describing, those stops keep the wire from sliding too much one way or the other.

My orthodontist puts little blobs of composite material on my white wire to act as stops. Does anyone else have this?
