Good luck...

For me my 1st adjustment was a wire change and it hurt from the time he put it on...But overall it wasnt as bad as acutally gettin the braces...I dont know if it was bcuz i got use to the pain that it didnt seem so bad or...my pain threshold increased?!?...

But to me it hurt really bad the 1st day and after that the pain got less and less....Until around the 3rd day it wasnt even noticeable by the end of the week i was gradually eating food....

Hope this helps.

Sadly it's different for everyone so there is no way to say for sure. I didn't have much pain at all with getting the braces on, but my first adjustment hurt like hell. I hope that you have an easier time of it.

It shouldnt be as bad as when they are initially put on.
After my 1st adjustment (wire change and tightening the thingy w/e it's called :P) it hurt for a few days then the pain subsides =)
Hope it goes well for ya !~

My first adjustment hurt like hell. Im going in for my second tomorrow and doubt ill feel as much pain as the first time. It was massive amounts of pressure. My teeth were sore when I went in for my first adjustment so thats why it hurt me. Then again, I felt absolutely no pain what so ever from day 1 till now with my braces so everyone is different. I also felt no pain at all the days after the adjustment. Only for about a half hour after I left the office. I did take 2 advil when I left the place to be safe, but it was not needed.

Trust me, you wont be scared to go for the second adjustment, put it that way.

It can vary from what I have heard-I was fortunate that my first adjustment didn't hurt, I just felt a bit of pressure but that's all.
