Retraction without much space left?

I'm 7 months into treatment for bimaxillary protrusion. I got 4 premolars extracted. But I'm a little worried because my gaps are almost closed; it looks like there's almost no space left to retract my teeth anymore, but there hasn't been much change in my protrusion. (The only change seems to be that my teeth aren't as flared, and I have less lip strain.) I wonder if my back teeth moved too far forwards (I didn't have any anchorage besides pulling the canines back first.) Is it possible for retraction to still happen at this point, or is this pretty much all the retraction I'll get?

Hey i also had my 4 premolars extracted to make room for front teeth retraction for my overbite. I'm also 7.5 months into my overbite treatment, but I'm not even half way through retracting my upper canines and the gaps between canines and incisors are getting bigger and bigger. How come you are done with retracting canines and incisors in 7 months? cus it seems like a short time to be done with both phases (canines, then 4 incisors retraction).

This is my biggest fear! I keep thinking: what if my back teeth move forward instead of my front teeth moving backwards. My Ortho says I will be fine and that molars and 2nd premolars are stronger than front teeth.
