No more wire change?

#1 Post by Frog »

So I haven't had my wire on top changed the last two appointments and now I didn't get my wire changed on the bottom either. I was told to just wear different elastic configuration. Does that mean I am getting close to demanding?

I think it depends on the technology of the wire and the need of your treatment at the time. I had a "working" wire on my upper arch from last December to August before moving up to my "finishing" wire which I'll probably wear for almost a year.

I only had one wire change since my braces have been on and that is the only wire change I will have. My teeth are now perfectly straight and we are just using elastics to close some bite gaps etc.
Braced on Sept 9/11

In-ovation R lowers
