Hello!

#1 Post by MrsCharisma »

Hi everyone!

I wanted to get my first post done and figured I could do a quick intro. I first got braces at about age 19 and ended up getting them taken off early while pregnant with my son. I'm going back in! I'm almost 34, married with 5 kids, (2 "at-home" kids and 3 "step"kids) and I'm a chemist.

I am getting spacers tomorrow morning and getting braced next Thursday. I'm going with ceramic uppers, metal lowers and expected treatment time of 18-24 months.

I look forward to interacting on the boards.

Hi! I'm doing round 2 of braces and getting my spacers on tomorrow as well. Not sure of my brace date yet, but I'll find out tomorrow. I'm glad to be able to talk to someone who's getting them on around the same time as I am.

Congratulations on starting your braces journey. I too will be getting ceramic uppers and metal lowers in a couple of weeks and I am excited. My treatment time like yours is supposed to be 18-24 months. Keep us updated on how everything is going.

I'm getting upper and lower metal braces on Monday. I've had spacers for the past 2 weeks and I'm ready to move on! =)

There are lots of us getting new teeth in this new year. Im new also and will be getting a full mouth of metal braces in the morning. This will be my second round. First time was probably 25+ years ago. Im 40 and not looking forwars to a year of pain, but am looking forward to a nice smile again. I do like that colors are available this time and I plan to start out bold! Might as well jump right in!

Hi everyone! I hope all your spacers haven't been too much of a bother. I'm excited because there was a cancellation and instead of having to wait until Monday, I'll be getting braced tomorrow morning! :jump:
