Well yesterday was the big day and I am finally braced. I got 3m clarity brackets on the top and bottom with a white wire on the top. This is my first time ever with braces and at this point isnt bad at all, no pain, canker sores, etc. I'm sure there will be more fun to come in the future. The worst part about the entire thing has been when I had the spacers. I couldnt eat anything remotely solid for a week and a half. The braces are a breeze compared to the spacers. I'm not sure really how to upload pictures, so any help there would be great!

Congrats! They look great! I also got ceramic uppers with the white wire and its not that noticeable.

they look great! i like the white wire! i have ceramic uppers but normal wire, and lower is all metal its great your not in pain yet, i found the inital few days quite painful and then ulcers a bit of a issue for the first few weeks! goodluck!

Looks good the ceramics and coated archwire

Mine are also ceramics with a coated archwire just mine aren't self ligating.

Don't be nervous at all. It takes some gettin used to but not bad at all. Mine were sore for a couple of days but after that its been good. Just be prepared for a couple days of soft food and you'll be fine

Thanks for the words of encouragement, but I'm not sure it'll be the same for me.
I'm a wuss when it comes to oral pain as it is, and I have some drastic movement to do. I've got teeth that are pushed so far back I don't even know how they're going to reach the wire there
