Can someone explain to me what each of them are?

I have an overbite, which means that the top front teeth overlap (vertically) the bottom front teeth excessively. This causes excessive wear on those teeth.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this is what I know based on what I have seen so far.

Cross bite: when some of the upper teeth are biting on the inside of the lower teeth.
Overbite: when the top jaw is in front of the lower jaw. Some overbite of about 2-3mm is ideal, as having jaws that line up edge to edge will cause quick wearing down of the teeth.
Underbite: when the lower jaw is in front of the upper jaw.
