Gums bleeding 11 weeks in....

Hi, I have a brace on my top teeth for 11 weeks now. For the last week or so, my gums have been bleeding when I flossed. Before my braces my gums used to bleed but that was all sorted before I got my brace on and haven't had any problem till now. I'm not flossing them any different to before. Could this be down to movement? Thanks

HI , yeah thats normal. Teeth move and gums become softer and sensitive . Probably happen throughout your treatment.

If it continues for another few days, have it looked at; you may have some food jammed down in there, or a mild periodontal infection.

Thanks for your replies. I am back on Tuesday for my second adjustment so will mention it then.
