I have been flying high all day. I feel amazing. 23 Months to the day and they are off. Best decision I ever made.

Wow, they look amazing! I am just about to start my journey, brcaes go on next week for 2 years!
Started treatment to correct open bite non surgically

Sectional brace with Damon clear brackets fitted to front 6 upper teeth 3 January 2012
Brackets added to premolars 2 April 2012
Estimated treatment time originally 6-9 months
. Brace removed on 22 July 2013 after 18 months and 19 days
Now enjoying bonded upper retainer plus part time essix/hawley( I have both)

Thank you all so much. I'm working on finishing up my video which I will eventually post a link to, I have some more tweaking to do though.
I wore my retainer for the first time last night and it hurt. Hopefully I get used to it. :| Over the last two years I developed a habit of using my tongue to clean out my brackets and I kept trying to do it yesterday after I ate. :lol:

It is amazing how ortho changes everything, not just the teeth. The shape of my face and profile already look different after three months. Kicking myself for not doing this, say, 40 years ago... :cry:
