Interesting comment from people ' wow your teeth are whiter'

Fancy that comment!!
I have very very good oral hygiene (my comment, and from ortho), but in the last week I have had 2 comments (unprompted) from people saying that my teeth are whiter than they were before I had my braces on!
Important to note: I use a fluoride toothpaste now, and NO whitening toothpaste.
Hoping I don't have a reverse problem to many people and end up with yellowish squares and white everywhere else once they are off!!
I think it could be just that the braces draw attention to my teeth, and compared with the grey metal band, they are whiter

haha i have often thought this too!...i have good oral hygiene too and stopped using a whitening toothpaste when I got my brace on and I sometimes think my teeth look whiter...i hope not...little yellow squares left behind! how funny would that be!
