Small hole in essix retainer.

Ive been wearing my essix retainer full time for 11 weeks so far, and i look after it well by cleaning it with retainer brite.
However, today ive noticed i have a small hole at the bottom of the back teeth...will it still work as normal? or is it better to be safe and buy another one?
