I'm having a MRI on Monday of my stomach , but I have a lower lingual arch and I will be getting bottom braces on tomorrow. Will I still be able to get the MRI with all that in my mouth? When the lady asked me if there was any metal in my body I totally blanked out and forgot about the fixed contraption in my mouth.

I had a follow-up MRI earlier this month for a herniated spinal disc. No problems. If you were having an MRI of your head or neck area, they would make the images less clear.

I agree. I've had an MRI since I had my braces put on. No problem at all.
