Day one with bottom braces

This is m y first day with lower braces and its not as bad as having that dang rpe. No pain yet. In two weeks they will be putting on elastics and putting a new rpe in.does anyone know how I can floss with the braces and lower lingual arch?

Hey, I'm about to start treatment for upper and lower arch expansion. Are the expanders that uncomfortable? Keep updating thanks and sorry I don't know about your question!

sorry i just saw your post. the expanders are uncomfortable, but i got used to it. it's the not being able to talk correctly that bothers me . i was already tongue tied , but now it's even harder for people to understand me .

i also got my first adjustment on the bottom braces. i am not a fan lol

if you don't already have a waterpik i would suggest that. It works really well for flossing with the braces on.
