tongue space
Is there a way to check how much tongue space you're supposed to have? I have a feeling I have too little but I'm not sure if that's because of the way I place my tongue or because there really isn't enough space. I once read that if you relax your tongue and let it lay flat you can see how much of the teeth it covers and that's how much space you lack.

I am also worried about this because I am having my front teeth retracted 4mm. I don't know if there is a specific measurement...
At rest, your tongue should sit on the roof of your mouth comfortable against the back of your front teeth.

perhaps a CMS test as they described above ?
Do bring it up with your orthodontist though, especially if you are concerned because it is their job to answer questions!
I hope someone else on this forum can give you a better answer
Re: tongue space
Why are you having your teeth retracted?
Perhaps people on the surgery forum would know more, I'll post the question there as well.
