getting braces on September 24th need help

Im getting braces in 21 days before I get wired
I will have 3 surgical removal of teeth
2 normal extractions full mouth restoration
Fillings resin based ; just had surgery this past tuesday
My Dentist said I will be ready to get my braces on September 24th
I am going to have a spring on one my back moler ;
How bad dose springs hurt on the first week with it in
I wore braces in high school for 2 years and only had the
Top arch done ; age 34 second time with braces 18-24 months
Treatment time quote having trouble getting away from sodas
Plus im having trouble eating after all dental work I have had so far
With 3 more 2hour dentist visits every week this month up to the day before
I get my braces im in alot of pain right now

My gums still hurt from having extractions this past tuesday
I have dental surgery this mon or tuesday to keep on track
To get my braces on September 24th all the dentist visits
Are getting old I have beeen to the dentist more this year
Then I have been in 10 years I have 3 more 2hour dentist visits
Up to the day before I get my braces I hope everything
Goes well

Wow! that is a lot of dental work. I am glad to read that you are keeping a positive attitude through it all. Braces are not that bad, and there is a light at the end of the tunnel... Straight teeth

It has been a long journey so far 3 months of work today just had another 2 hour visit
At the dentist for fillings on the surgery side of my top arch but the fillings are on the bottom arch
I only have 2 more dentist visits left before I get braces in a little over 2 weeks
Thanks to evreyone to help me see me through this I will keep everyone posted on
Updates as I get closer to getting bracketed on the September 24th (15 days away)

I do have a question about molar springs to move my molar in to new position
Do they hurt never had one

When I was in high school I only had braces on the top arch as you can tell
This will be my 2nd time in braces top and bottom with expander hoping it is the
Hex expander not the one with the key I have a gag reflex lol my teeth hurt right now
My bite is changing every week hard to get used to and eat some foods
What should I eat on day one I will be at the orthodontist on the 24th at 8:15 am
Anxious cant wait till im showing off my hard work and pain of a shiny new smile :)

Congratulations! It is exciting, isn't it? I'm sure you will do great once you get them on.

I had 2 wisdom teeth extracted and a 2nd premolar, have braces on both jaws now, had a closed coil spring for 3 months and now have power chains from first molar to first molar on both jaws. So far, I've had virtually no pain and only minor discomfort mainly from pressure but I seem to have spent an awful lot of time with either my dentist or orthodontist over the past year.

Thanks for the help my teeth still hurt hoping I will be able to eat tonight
After I get done with the dentist visits I will have in the chair for 12 hours over
6 visits with in 2 months ...hoping most of my gaps close except where the implant
Is going ..I know I will do just fine in braces .as soon as I have the time I will
Type out my full treatment from the paper from my dentist and full treatment of
What I am getting from my orthodontist again thanks to everyone who have

Count to me getting braces is 2 weeks ..two more 2 horur dental visits
This Tuesday getting last 2 extractions and more fillings
And more restoration work all most there ..metal mouth bound
On the 24th wish me luck trying to get more posts in so I can
Share my photos on the message board and to give you my updates
On my way to get braces ......I miss having them: now in 2 weeks.

I will be on my way to having a healthy straight teeth
And showing off my new shiny metal smile;)

Thanks to everyone that helped me 13 days left
Before I get braces going to stock up on supplies
So I run out ....going to buy extra wax mint flavored
I know i will get some from the orthodontist just In csse
I need it I will have extra , I have a spin brush is it safe
To use on braces? Or should I get something else?

Dental hygiene kit (dental mouth mirror, dental pick, dental scraper), gum soft-picks, interdental brushes, mouth sore rinse, super floss, breath spray, breath strips, perhaps?

11 days left before I get braces and having surgery Tuesday then
One more appointment after that then braces

I think I ended up buying one of everything at the dental department at a local drug store. One of the better moves I made was to make sure I had a travel toothbrush in my vehicles, in my computer bag, brief case, and so forth. When I started with elastics I filled an empty wax container with a bunch of them so I could easily put them in my pocket. I put a piece of duct tape on the top of it to distinguish it from the 1,213 containers of wax I stocked up on, just in case the world supply dried up unexpectedly.

I may give it a try thanks now with 8 days to go till I get my braces dentist appointment this tuesday
2 teeth to get extracted and new fillings next visit will be resurfacing my teeth and whitning
