Yay! congrats and welcome to the club :D :D

I know what you mean about that huge feeling, it does settle and yay for all metal!! (I have the same though i do not have the elastics as i have Damon braces)

Thanks all.

Still doing fine.

Have used some wax right at the back on the top set - the big brackets were hurting my cheeks but fine now with the wax.

Have found a great way to get a good look at my braces when cleaning them - head torch!! I don't have a lit mirror & I can angle the head torch for upper/lower & left/right!! Great when using the interdental brushes etc.

Everyday is a learning experience! !

scottr - my teeth are not bad, my braces are in prep for double jaw surgery.

have got a ortho appt on 21st jan so not long to wait for adjustment.
