Hi everyone,
I'm a 22 year old female from Canada.
I just got my traditional braces put on two weeks ago, and had my lower left central incisor extracted yesterday.
I feel really self-conscious about the way I look, so I thought I would come here to seek support and to see everyone's progress to keep me motivated.
I will post some pictures soon, and I look forward to interacting with everyone. :)

Hi, wanted to share you are not alone! I will be gettong my all metal braces on in less than a weeks and feel the same as you. It will all be worth it in the end!

Welcome! I had a lower incisor extracted too. If you search the site for lower incisor extraction, I posted some pics of my progress at 6 months. Take a look and it will ease your concerns. My ortho said the gap would close in 2 months. I thought she was nuts but she was totally right. I'm now just approaching a year and I'm so happy I did it.
