Well I can't believe it, but tomorrow (jan 13th) I will be getting my braces on! I'm so excited yet so nervous!

Wanted to share some photos. The before was taken right before going into orthos office and the after was taken a few hours after they were put on. Not going to lie... These things HURT! Taking it one day at a time and hoping i adjust to them soon!

Great to see your pictures. Your open bite is not bad at all and your arch is nice and wide. I am sure you will get a beautiful result without surgery.

Thank you! I really wish I had fully understood the importance of following your orthos directions the first time I had braces. I had a rapid palatal expander for 6 months when I was 15 and then wore braces for 3 years. I never got the results intended because I didn't wear elastics as instructed and didn't wear my retainers. This time I will not be making those same mistakes!
