Ortho wants to take my braces off, teeth aren't there yet.

Pictures are linked. I mean, they're really off. They slant upwards and look wonky. I really don't understand why he would take them off like that. I don't care how much longer I have them on for, I just care about the result. I also have some jaw misalignment that I want to address and it's my understanding that bracesare supposed to be left on during the correction of such an issue.
When I mentioned my concerns about my teeth slanting upwards, he just flat out denied it. He claimed that he saw absolutely no slant. I'm not being self deprecating, but it's seriously obvious. What should I do? Can he take my braces off even if I ask for them to stay on?
That bracket was fixed yesterday, the picture was taken earlier this week.

I'm very worried that your ortho is ignoring your concerns. Hopefully he won't force you to take them off if you still have concerns, you are paying after all. How long have you had your braces if I may ask?

I can indeed see a bit of a slant if I have a good look at your picture. But I am sure that in everyday life nobody will notice.
But definitely address this concern to your ortho again, or else ask a second opinion. These are your teeth and you have to be happy with them. By the way, I think your teeth are beautiful!

You have lovely teeth. But I can see that your bottom teeth are not level. Why don't you get a second opinion?

I've had my braces on for around 28 months. Got them on September 14, 2011.

My ortho is going to continue treatment of my bottom teeth. He said he would take my top braces off at my next appointment but leave the bottoms on. I'd much rather just leave them both on and continue treating them for a while. I'm totally not comfortable taking the top ones off right now though.
