Soreness after removal of molar rings?

Soreness after removal of molar rings?

Hi everyone, i'm surprised I haven't seen any similar threads on this...
I'm down to my final 2 appointments and on my last appointment, my orthodontist decided to remove my molar rings first before i'm officially debraced on the following month.

What I noticed is that while removal of molar rings doesn't hurt, the pain comes in AFTER.
My gums feel sore and my bite feels awkward.

Anyone here have had similar experiences?
