Anyone wearing a MEAW?

I am currently in the consultation phase, however am leaning towards an ortho who provided both the best price and time (15-18mos). Unfortunately, there is no ceramic option (Damon metal) so I am still debating about that.

My main question is about a technique this ortho plans to use. I have a mild Class III edge-to-edge bite where only my front two teeth touch. In order to fix this, my ortho plans to use a crazy looking archwire with a whole bunch of bends. After searching around, it looks like the wire is a multi-loop edgewise archwire (MEAW). I found a couple of old threads, however does anyone currently have a MEAW? Or have you had one in the past? Honestly, the thing looks a little terrifying, both functionally (how on earth do you brush?) and aesthetically. However the things I've read online make it seem like a really good option.
