today is my brace anniversary!

Hello!

Today is my brace anniversary: I have been in braces for exactly one year now!
It has been a hard, emotional journey for me, but I think it will get better. And on this day, I am truly happy with all the progress I have made in the past year. And I would love to share this progress with you!

PS I am in box elastics now which will hopefully fix the cant in my smile and lateral open bite

Bonded Rapid Palatal Expander: 10/1/13 - 3/31/14
Upper and Lower Metal Braces: 4/22/14 - 7/14/15
Total treatment time: 21 months

coming along great. elastics pretty much signifies the "ending" stages so you almost home free

By the way, I think it is not always true that elastics signifies the ending stages, I have been in elastics from month 4 and some on this forum even from day 1!
