Coil Spring Fell Off

#1 Post by Bakey »

On Friday night when I brushed my teeth 1 of the rubber bands snapped and it made the coil spring come off. Thankfully I realised and got it before I swallowed it. I've put it back on but it now looks more stretched than the one on the other side, will this make a difference or doesn't it matter as long as it's on? I can phone my orthodontist tomorrow to make an emergency appointment but I can't get time off work tomorrow or Tuesday anyway, my next scheduled appointment isn't until the end of August.

You need to see him before the end of August, but this is not so bad of an emergency that there will be dire consequences if it takes a couple days to get in.

Well I saw my orthodontist this afternoon, she said as long as it's back on it didn't need changing but did anyway as I'd gone in. Shame the receptionist I spoke to on Monday didn't know or at least check with her. Didn't have to take time off work though & it's only a 20 minute walk from my house.
