6 Month Update - With Pictures!

So everyone loves a good picture update. I know when i was looking on here before getting braces i always headed for the picture threads first to see what just could happen!
So now it's my turn.
6 months in and it been a pretty amazing transformation so far. Still a way to go and gaps to close up etc, but you'll see that for yourself.
Prior to braces i had a massively overcrowed mouth. Had 4 extractions first and then the fun began......
So we'll start here. Early days. Quite embarrassing to think i thought this was 'alright' for so many years!

As you can see, a big mess. I also had this to pull forward too:

So, 6 months down the line, how are we geting on? They are a lot straighter for starters! My bottom row are now really spaced out and the Ortho has just began the process of closing the gaps up. The top recessed tooth has been pulled forward, and im now here.....

We have talked about minimising the big black triangle at the top front, and appreciate it probably wont go completely, but can live with that in comparrison to what i started with!
So there you have it. 6 months in and coming together nicely.
Hopefully this may inspire someone else to just go for it.
