I've had my braces on for maybe a year and 5 months now and tomorrow afternoon I'm going to get the forsus appliance put on. I'm really scared to go get it, I've seen videos of how it is put on. Is there anything I need to know about the pain after having them put on and talking weird or foods to avoid? Please help!!

I had the Forsus...it's really uncomfortable getting food stuck where you can't get to it without putting your finger in your mouth...which is weird when your eating in a restaurant. By now you know it doesnt really hurt and is put on real fast. It pokes your bottom lips out. I hated that. The worst part for me that caused me to say forget it was that something was always wrong with it..parts coming apart or off etc...I was spending way to much time at the ortho and finally after 3 months told the ortho I wanted it out. I still got my braces off in the 2 years he predicted. So happy with the results!
