Mine are every 6 weeks which I think is a long time..I was wondering if this was average or if kind of a long wait between adjustments.

Mine were 5 to 8 weeks apart, depending on what was being done.
6 sounds totally normal to be honest...

My first one is 8 weeks. Gotta give time for your teeth to move enough before the ortho can do anything else I guess...

After the initial bonding of the braces, it was 8 weeks. After that, it's every 4-6. I usually do 4 because I'm impatient and want new wires and ligs asap.

4-6 weeks, mostly 4 right now. Which is normal for traditional braces.

Mine are every 6 weeks. The 1st time I had braces they were every 4 weeks. I'd say 4-6 weeks is normal.

My first one is 6 weeks. Not sure how often after that but we'll see. :)

My first adjustment is 10 weeks from my banding date. Looks like mine is the furthest away so far!

They said 6-10 weeks for me and I opted for 6 weeks.

The standard at my practice is 8 weeks

My adjustments have been every 8 weeks since my braces were installed over 10 months ago. I have Damon self-ligating brackets. I'm guessing that my appointments will get closer together when I enter the "finishing" phase.

Thank you all for your responses ..now I don't feel too worried about my appointments being 6 weeks apart. It feels really long , but I'm sure its for a reason.

Yeah that makes sense..Hopefully we see results soon

I'm very impatient too ..4 weeks is quick, hopefully I can change it for future dates to that
