Braces made something misaligned?

I had wilckodontics and had cement blocks in for about 2 months so my bite was opened for a while, that's when this problem started. Then they shaved the cement blocks down a bit and after 3 to 4 more months they removed them completely this week(I did have the braces on my lower arch removed too). Now that all my molars connect again when I bite, will this problem fix itself? Here's a picture so you can see what I mean, I don't know what this is called but you'll see:

Other than this, I'm quite happy with how my crowding was fixed and my bite is good now. But I'm almost done so I'm worried what can be done about this.

My thinking is yes. It will get better. Sometimes things get worse or cause another problem before it gets better. I have a cross bite now that wasn't too bad but now my upper teeth touch the bottom where they didn't before. My ortho is making adjustments to fix it and it's slowly getting getter.

I hope so. I forgot to bring this up when I was there. It was a pretty big day getting my lower arch finished and all.

Am I correct in that this was caused by the cement blocks? If so it should be fixed now that I finally don't have them in anymore..

Also does anybody know if this is a problem with the way my teeth are set now or is it due to the jaws changing?

I've learned to always ask my ortho if I have a concern. Because if don't, then he's in and out of the room to quick and lets face it, these are our teeth we're talkin about and that's important to us. When you bite down fully, do all your back molars touch? Or is it more"open"?

No they all touch. My whole bite seems fully functional despite this.

Does somebody know the name or term for this issue?

Can you clarify what your issue actually is? Your photo sort of makes it look like the upper incisors are hitting the lowers edge-to-edge and keeping you from being able to bite down the rest of the way, but I take it that's not the case....

No I was just keeping my mouth open to show how my teeth don't line up, it appears as though my lower jaw has become crooked, on the left side on the photo my teeth on that side of the jaw are going downwards..

But it doesn't seem to be a functional issue, just aesthetic. All my molars touch when I bite down and I don't feel anything wrong..I wish I had asked my ortho about it argh.

I think I figured it out. The left incisors on the lower jaw are taller than the ones on the right. I might shave them down a bit?

Yes, I notice that too. I'm also not crazy about the tilt of your right central incisor; I wonder if the roots are all properly parallel in your X-rays. The left incisors and canine ideally would have been intruded some to even out their heights. There's not much you can do to actually improve them without putting your braces back on, but your ortho or dentist could probably camouflage the height discrepancy a little bit by removing some enamel.

Yeah I think this might have something to do with the corticotomy surgery I had for the wilckodontics treatment. Maybe the added bone mass was more significant on one side of the jaw.

Also on the tooth you mentioned and another next to it, both had some damage on top which is probably why they became even shorter. I hope I don't regret this, but I'll present these questions to my orthodontist next time.

Ok I have to change my mind yet again lol. I think both theories are right. There is a discrepancy in incisor/canine height but my lower jaw has definitely changed somehow too. I'm actually getting x-rays tommorow and it's a perfect moment to bring this alight methinks!
