Braces removed... So disappointed... Do you agree the teeth are still crooked?

Hello. I got braces about 15 months ago and I was promised straight teeth. I was given six month smiles for the first 13 months. Then for the last couple of months the dentist gave me clear aligners similar to Invisalign. He has said the bottom teeth are complete and also the top teeth cannot get any straighter. I'm so disheartened. I don't care if it takes longer to have straight teeth I just feel like they're still crooked and it isn't what I paid for. I did exactly what I was told and always wore elastics etc for the recommended time.
I removed the clear aligners just to take the photos attached.
What do you guys think? I would love objective opinions as when the dentist is telling me the teeth are straight and I don't agree I feel very confused. I'm very grateful as the teeth have come along way and there are much bigger problems in the world but I just have a sinking feeling when it comes to them. I've raised my concern with the dentist but he's basically saying that's as straight as the teeth can get but I'm not convinced. Thank you so much in advance.

Your best bet is to see an orthodontist. Six month smiles, as you will see repeatedly throughout this forum, is really only for aligning teeth and does not correct bite issues. The training for six month smiles is a weekend in a hotel ballroom. It's just not the same as seeing an orthodontist that has been specially trained for years to fix teeth.

This is getting verry old and I'm sick of it. I can't find a good ortho or a affordable one and I done spent so much money that I'm freaky hate to spend more but I need a fourth doctor I guess

I agree with EWUgal. For the amount of training a dentist received in treating malocclusion, it's why their pricing is so enticing to some. If your initial concern was to correct your crooked teeth, the dentist has delivered. They look good to me. However, if your current concern is the alignment and bite, you'll need to see an orthodontist for that, which may cost you extra.

My honest opinion? Give your teeth and mouth a rest. No one will ever have the perfect smile. If the 3rd time couldn't satisfied your expectation, I doubt the 5th, 6th and etc. will. You'll only be doing more harm to your teeth by seeking more ortho treatments.

What do you see wrong about your teeth? Your teeth definitely look straight to me (and, lucky you, no black triangles!). I do see where one side of your top arch appears to be lower than the other. I don't know if that's just the camera angle. If not, and if that's what you're concerned about, that's something you'd need to see an ortho to fix as it sounds like your dentist doesn't have the skills to correct it.
If you're concerned about the tiny gaps between your upper and lower teeth on the side when you bite down, I have them, too. I had a crossbite, so my teeth got worn down. Gaps appeared in my bite when they were straightened because those parts of the teeth are actually missing. Might be what is happening with your teeth, too.
In any case, as an impartial observer, your teeth look good aesthetically. As long as your bite is comfortable and your teeth are hitting each other in the right places I would be happily skipping my way into retainers if I were you!

Hi, I think your teeth look nice and straight but as we are all our own worse critics, only you will know what is making you unhappy, Six month smiles is like every other fixed orthodontic solution in that it uses brackets, wires and elastics to move your teeth, the main difference being that it is usually provided by someone with little training in orthodontics and only really concentrates on the straightening of the main visible teeth. To properly correct a bite and to align the back teeth takes a while which is contrary to the claims of a quick fix solution so you have probably received the best result possible within the limitations of the therapy selected. If you are in any doubt, have a chat with an orthodontist to see what they think.

Your midline is off. If you can get it fixed for free from the same dr and have the time and endurance, then go for it while its paid for.
Really though... your teeth are gorgeous. I would possibly whiten them a half a shade, but not to much more or else they will look fake. You have beautifully shaped teeth, I hope mine are that great some day!
