Jaw pain after braces removal

Hello!

I've recently had my braces removed after 24 months (yay!) and am now wearing top and bottom bonded retainers plus I have a removeable top retainer. So the braces removal was a two-step process in a span of ten days in order for my ortho to make my retainer. The first step was when the molar bands came off, but since then, my right jaw has been painful/sore whenever I move it in a certain way. Has anyone else had this problem after braces removal?

I had a minor case of TMJ/sore jaw during my treatment at the beginning, but I didn't think expect it to happen again at the end of my treatment. Just wanted to know if this was normal and how long it would take to get better.
