Im getting my third tightening Monday. I really want my doctor to address the new gap and my growing overbite. Usually when im in the chair he just gives the assistant directions and gives me no information about what changes i will be seeing.
Im not a fan of this approach and prefer transparency so im not shocked when i see some unwelcomed changes.

Has anyone else who had an overbite see it grow and become more pronounced in the beginning of treatment? I feel so embaressed i dont even want to leave the house.

Maybe i will be getting bands this time. Do rubber bands help the overbite?

Im not sure if my teeth will ever look this nice again, but now i feel like i took a 360. Both of these photos are from 2016

My ortho doesn't tell me anything either. I'm fascinated by the treatment and would love to know what I'm in store for.

The photos are about a year apart. After i took my braces off and didnt wear a retainer my teeth moved and ive started braces for the second time.

My doctor said we should be talking at this appointment. I sure hope he has some good news.
