Heartbeat in gums help pls

#1 Post by Skwiredmouth »

Hii.. i got my damons last week. Today is day 7.

Due to molar buildups I have bite issues but overall pretty calm . I don't have much pain.

Only I have this odd feeling in my lower 4 incisors. I feel pressure in the inside gum one day and next day the pressure goes away and i feel as if there are heartbeats in that gum which is like heartbeat plus tickling feeling. My bottom teeth have already moved and I an going for a wire change on day 8. Is this heartbeat/ tickling sensation due to movement? This tickling doesnt hurt and doesnt go away with painkiller bt is very irritating.

Very strange. I would talk to your ortho, but I'll bet it has something to do with the fact your braces are so new you're overthinking about your teeth, gums and mouth. Like the rest of us you'll soon get used to them and start worrying about other things. :D

I met my ortho and told him this. And he smiled and said the same that my teeth are moving so I am over thinking about it and having this feeling. But its nothing to worry about .

In fact I dont feel anything at all now !!

But i did feel like that earlier :)
