Not happy with the end result of braces

I had ceramic braces for past 20 months. I m getting them off in a week but to be honest I m not at all happy with the results. I have hairline size gaps between teeth..Is it normal? Also I m getting permanent retainer on top and bottom can they close such minor gaps?

He also told me that he was getting off my braces next time and I was not happy at all. I told him what bothered me and he told me that he will fix them. I am really waiting to see what happens and maybe if he doesn´t fix it i will take a second opinion. I have spent too much time and money to not be happy with the final results. Would you mind to post some pictures? sometimes it may be everything in our mind because we stare our teeth too much time.

are you wearing power chains? If you the gas could be closed using them. I don't think you should have any gaps and retainers won't close them.

No I wasnt given any power chain as such. Just the elastics on either side. Below are the pictures of the progress so far.. any inputs will be great..
