Central incisor extrusion

#1 Post by Saslom11 »

Hello all. Can my central incisors be extruded with braces (not lengthened with veneers)? I would like to make them longer. And if so, what is the maximum they can be extruded safely? I filed off part of it a few years ago and would like to get back the same length. Looking at 3-5mm extrusion.

"Safety" all depends if you have short or longer roots, which will only be discovered once you have an x-ray.

Many people have had teeth extruded 3-5 mm (I was at the end of that range as my canine was pretty far up and not in the arch and came down beautifully)

Definitely worth going to a consultation for.
