I'm sure this has been asked before but does anyone know how Class II elastics work in adults? I've seen them work for people so I'm not doubting it. My question is do they more pull your top teeth back or do they pull your bottoms forward? I feel more in my top teeth and jaw than anywhere else.

I currently have class II elastics and from what the orthodontist told me is they pull your top teeth back and lower forward I think it slowly moves then jaw or gets your used to that forward position slightly I have also been told my next appointment I’ll have a different wire for my teeth that will change the angle for them to come in so I’m guessing it’s not totally the elastics pushing them back
