Before you were braced...?

#1 Post by geekgirl »

Did you ever dream about them?

I've drempt about the bracing process several times now. Nothing horrible, just dreaming about getting them on, dealing with them, people's reactions, etc. Last night's was kind of funny though, because I drempt that instead of getting just the tops braced first (like a lot of people do) I drempt I just had the left side braced first, top and bottom! I can't decide if the dreams are because I'm excited or nervous about the whole process, but I thought it'd be cool to check if anyone else's subconscious has had as much fun with this process as mine is...

Waiting for life to settle down a bit before committing to 3 years of braces, lower jaw surgery, crowns and some whitening.

Hey Geekgirl, that's funny.

I haven't had any fun dreams, just the yukky ones. That would be quite a sensation, having one side, but not the other. I guess that would solve the eating problem--just chew with the un-braced side!

I did have dreams about getting braces before I got them and strangely enough I've been having them lately too about when I get bottom braces. I haven't dreamt anything scary just weird. You are not the only one who has weird dreams.

The only dreams I've had are my teeth falling out. I think I'd rather have your dreams.
