cold sensitive

#1 Post by birkie63 »

Greetings all! I had my herbst appliance removed 09/09/05 and my braces were put on 09/19/05. Ever since the herbst was removed a couple of the molars that were temporarily capped are very sensitive to cold (even to just cool sometimes). Has anyone else experienced this? and if so, how long did the cold sensitivity last?

Vicki

Hi Vicky - I'm glad I found your post! I hope your molars are happier now. I was looking for some help with an intense tooth pain I've been getting in the last few days. The good news is that my 'fang' has moved so much and is getting into the right place (hurray) but, oh, does it hurt when I have a cold drink or ice-cream.! :-(( This is the worst pain so far! I know, I should just keep away from cold things but I like ice in my drinks! vent, vent, vent :D
