What's your cleaning routine???

Hi Everyone,
Hope everyone is doing OK! Well, as some of you probably know, I'm totally paranoid & OTT about having clean teeth, what with the decay probs.
I suppose I'm just curious to know what everyone else's cleaning routine is.... Am I over-doing it, or missing something out?!
Well, here goes:
Each morning & after meals & before bedtime:
Interdental brushes between each tooth/brackets -
30 MINUTES
Clean with Braun Oral-B electric toothbrush -
10 MINUTES
Tongue Scraper
Fluorigard Mouthwash
Fluoride Gel Treatment
Oral-B Superfloss between every tooth, bracket & nance -
45 MINUTES
The whole ritual seems to take almost an hour & a half every time! It's OK 'coz I can do the interdental brushing & flossing whilst watching TV, so I don't mind too much!
But I'm finding that snacking, breakfast & lunch are now out as I simply can't be bothered to pick the remains afterwards!!
Is anyone else finding this tedious (although essential) routine a pain in the bum?!

...Or I've got an obsessive compulsive disorder!!!!
(I wouldn't mind, but I STILL get decay, coz of the meds!)

Nope...I think it's that I'm a slacker.
2 minutes with Sonicare and maybe a floss. I'm a bad girl.

MORNING: brush, sometimes use the long skinny toothbrush under archwire. Someone please, what is that thing called? Sometimes mouthwash.
AFTER SCHOOL: sometime brush, sometimes floss too.
BEFORE BED: brush, skinny brush, sometimes floss and mouthwash.
I try to floss whenever I have the time during the day and I try to do it once a day but I can't a lot. I mouthwash when I feel like it. I feel like I'm doing pretty good, but you deserve a star!

Wow, I agree, that's quite the routine! Here is mine:
MORNING (after breakfast): Brush with Sonicare toothbrush/Biotene toothpaste, and rinse with Biotene mouthwash OR Listerine.
DURING THE DAY: I try to brush after lunch with my travel toothbrush, but it doesn't always happen.
NIGHT (before bed): Floss all teeth with regular floss threader, brush with Sonicare toothbrush, rinse with Oral B Fluoride rinse.

Anytime I brush.... I use "Listerine Pre-Brush Rinse" for 1-2 minutes, then my sonicare for 2 minutes, and an occasional floss.... i sound terrible compared to you people! Good job!

I thought I might "win", but maybe not..
Morning: 2 minutes with the Sonicare, plus an extra quick scrubbing of the brackets with a normal hard toothbrush because the Sonicare doesn't seem to be very good at keeping plaque off the brackets
Evening: 2 minutes with Sonicare, rinse out with Corsodyl mouthwash
That's yer lot. I do not floss, never have, never will. I also do not clean after meals or in the middle of the day, but swish round my mouth very hard with water to get rid of things stuck under the brackets.[/b]

Thanks for all your replies!!....OK, I think I've got an obsessive problem!
BUT.... I STILL get decay despite doing all this! HOW?????????
I don't eat sugary things etc... live on water, eat healthily etc! It's driving me mad.... surely the meds can't cause decay when there's nothing left in my mouth to create the problem in the first place!
I think I must have the cleanest gob in Britain... if not the world!
Take care

I can't say I'm too bothered by the prospect of gum disease - I had it when I was a teenager but since switching to a Sonicare a few years ago, my dentist can find no sign of it. I haven't needed anywhere near as many scales and polishes since then either.
On the rare occasions I have tried flossing, nothing comes out. It seems pointless to me.
I think I shall continue to not floss, 'cos frankly, life's too short!

You seriously spend 4.5 hours a day brushing your teeth. Good Lord! Don't mean to sound off, but sdon't you have anything better to do - like work, or go about your day to day business?
My tooth cleaning routine consists of:
Brush with regular toothbrush (currently a disposible sonic clean Colgate one) for 2/3 minutes
Brush with interdental brush
Rinse with Listerene Anti-Tartar mouthwash (the blue one)
Floss with Glide floss (PM only)

I think you get microscopic stuff out when you floss.

I floss mostly for breath related purposes. I find it too frustrating to floss everday though.
