retainer problem

#1 Post by glowstix »

ok, i have both hawley's and essix. when i wear the hawleys, i feel like saliva is getting trapped somewhere and causing mild bad breath. do you guys ever get a weird taste because of the retainers??

i really like the essix but i don't want to wear them all the time since they feel so fragile...i need them to last.

Are you cleaning them everyday? I soak mine in retainer brite everyday...brush them, rinse them off, etc. Listerine makes these cool sprays that you can keep on your keychain. I figured out if i spray it in my mouth with my retainers in, it makes them taste good and freshens my breath.
